Membership

How do I sign up for a membership?

Signing up is easy!

  1. Browse our website and find the artwork you’d like to rent.
  2. Select your preferred size, material, and membership type.
  3. Click "Add to Membership".
  4. Complete checkout, and you're all set!

How much is an Art Rental Membership?

Creating an account is free - there’s no cost associated with signing up per say.

Your only expense is the artwork rental itself, with pricing starting from$10/week. The cost depends on the size of the artwork, what material and the membership type you choose.

When does my rental payment commence?

Your start paying as soon as you place the order. Standard time for you to receive the order is 5-10 working days. When you cancel your subscription you have 10 working days notice where these days will naturally be cancelled out.

What’s the difference between the Annual and Short-Term Membership?

Our Annual Membership offers great value with a fixed rate, complimentary swap of artwork, in-person consultations, and loyalty benefits, while the Short-Term Membership provides more flexibility without the long-term commitment, minimum term is 13 weeks. 

Can I change my artwork during my rental period?

Yes! You can swap your artwork at any time. If you have an Premium Annual Membership, changing artwork up to once every six months (after 6 months of membership) is included.

If you are on a Short-Term Membership (or not eligible yet for your complimentary swap in your Annual Membership) you can reach out to us via our Contact Us page and let us know that you want to do a swop. Charges to swop starts from $250 depending on the size and availability of the artwork you are after.

How: Just process another membership checkout, and we’ll arrange the transfer of the new artwork to your current membership. Please note that if you want to downsize, your payable amount will stay the same until the end of your minimum term. If you want to upsize during your term, the weekly cost will be adjusted accordingly.

Can I extend my membership period?

Absolutely! Your membership will automatically renew unless you choose to cancel.

Remember; if you choose to keep the same artwork for more then 12 month you will automatically be eligible for our Loyalty Program! This mean your weekly membership will go down with 15% at the renewal date. :)

What happens if I need to cancel my membership?

If you which to cancel, email rentals@photographicwallart.co.nz with "Cancel Membership" as the subject line and provide 14 days' notice. Please also let us know your preferred timeframe for when you'd like the artwork to be collected.

  • Annual Membership: Runs until the end of your term.
  • Short-Term Membership:Cancels in 14 days, unless you're still within the 13-week minimum rental period. If the 14-day notice falls within the remaining time of your minimum term, it will cancel at the end of your 13 weeks.

We’ll arrange for the artwork to be collected and finalize any remaining details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you need to cancel your subscription, please email rentals@photographicwallart.co.nz with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and provide at least 14 days' notice.

  • Annual Membership: Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current term.
  • Short-Term Membership: Your cancellation will take effect in 14 days. However, if your notice falls within the 13-week minimum rental period, your subscription will end when that period concludes.

Please also include your preferred timeframe for artwork collection, and we’ll arrange for pickup accordingly.

How do I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your account, please send an email to rentals@photographicwallart.co.nz with the subject line"Delete My Account." Our team will verify your details and process your request within 14 working days. If you're an active member, please ensure your subscription is cancelled before requesting account deletion. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out!

General Rental Questions

Can I purchase the artwork after renting it?

At this stage our artwork is exclusively available for rent and not for sale. This allows us to keep our collection fresh and flexible for all our members to enjoy! If you’re looking for a long-term solution, we recommend our annual membership for the best value.

Can I rent multiple artworks at the same time?

Yes! You can rent as many pieces as you like. If you need help selecting the right combination for your space, we’re happy to assist with our Art Consultation.

What is your Art Consultation?

Our Art Consultation is a personalized service designed to help you choose the perfect artwork for your space. For just $150 you'll receive expert guidance tailored to your preferences and environment.

  • Up to one hour of consultation to explore styles, sizes, and the best options for your space.
  • Cost deducted from your rental if you sign up for an annual membership.
  • No obligation—we’ll help you make the best choice for your home or office.

What sizes are available?

Our artwork comes in a variety of sizes varying from A4 to 60x40. You can find the exact dimensions on each artwork’s product page. Canvases can be made bigger than frames.

How long can I rent an artwork for?

As long as you want! Our memberships are flexible. Choose from an Annual or a Short-Term membership. Please see the membership tab in the main menu for more information.

What if I want to rent for a shorter period then 13 weeks?

Our minimum rental period is 13 weeks to ensure a smooth and cost-effective experience. If you're looking for a shorter-term solution, feel free to reach out—we may be able to accommodate your needs!

I’m based outside Auckland - can I rent your art?

At this stage, our rental service is only available within Auckland. However, if you're outside the area and interested in our artwork, feel free to get in touch - we may be able to explore options for you in the future!

The Artwork

What happens if my artwork gets damaged?

We understand that accidents happen! please reach out to us as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to resolve it.

Do you offer installation services?

Yes, we do! And it is complimentary with any of our memberships. Our professional hanger will contact you to arrange a convenient time for installation once your artwork is ready.

How do I take care of the artwork?

To keep your artwork in perfect condition, please avoid touching it unless you are carefully dusting it.

For cleaning, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth when needed. Canvas prints should also be kept away from extreme moisture to maintain their beauty.

For security reasons, handling is not permitted. If you need to move the artwork, please call Ida at 09 255 5255 for assistance.

We want to move the artwork, what do we do?

For security and preservation reasons, artwork must not be moved. If you need to relocate a piece, please call Ida at 09 255 5255 for assistance. A professional hanger will coordinate the move for you.

  • The relocation service costs $200.
  • If you are on an annual contract and have been a member for more than six months, you can use your six-monthly swap as payment instead.

What if I move to a new office?

No problem! Just let us know your new location, what date you need it moved by, and a professional hanger will coordinate the move with you.

What does Floating Frame mean?

A floating frame is a sleek and modern framing style where the artwork appears to "float" within the frame rather than being covered by it. This creates a subtle shadow gap between the artwork and the frame, giving it a more refined and gallery-like presentation. It's a popular choice for adding depth and elegance to your artwork!

Our Floating Frame options also have a torn edge.

What does Torn Edge mean?

Torn Edge refers to a hand-torn finish on the edges of fine art prints, giving them a soft, organic look. This technique mimics the natural deckled edges of handmade paper and adds a unique, artistic touch to the artwork, often enhancing its texture and character.

How big is the biggest I can get the artwork I want to rent?

The maximum size varies depending on the artwork and its format, what camera it was shot on and how the image was captured. Each piece has its available sizes listed on the product page.

Can I supply my own image?

At this time, Photographic Wall Art only offers a curated selection of professionally produced artwork. We do not accept external images for printing or framing as part of our rental service.

Delivery & Installation

How is the artwork delivered?

We arrange professional delivery to ensure the artwork arrives safely.

Do I need to install the artwork myself?

No! Let us deal with that for you. A professional hanger will contact you, free of charge, to arrange a convenient time for installation.

Can I pick up the artwork myself?

Our service includes delivery, so self-pickup is not an option. This ensures the artwork is handled and installed correctly.

The box arrived damaged, what do I do?

Do Not Sign For It. Do Not Open It. Please contact Ida immediately on 09 255 5255 for assistance. In the meanwhile take photos of the damaged box. Accidents happens and we will resolve it.

I got my artwork, what do I do with the packing materials?

We truly value our planets resources. If you let us know when the artwork has been satisfactory installed, we will come and collect the packing, so we can reuse it next time.

What is your Loyalty Program?
